This Refund Policy applies to all rental, leasing and rent-to-own services provided by Yalla Drive (a trading brand of Al-Maher Rent A Car LLC) in the Sultanate of Oman. By making a booking or payment, you acknowledge and accept the terms set out below.
1. Non-Refundable Payments
- All rental, leasing and rent-to-own payments are non-refundable once a vehicle has been reserved on your behalf, delivered, collected, or the rental period has begun.
- Booking confirmations, security deposits applied to outstanding charges, and prepaid packages are not refundable in cash.
- Promotional, discounted, and long-term prepaid bookings are strictly non-refundable.
2. Early Returns
Returning the vehicle before the agreed end date does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of any unused portion of the rental period. The full contracted rental amount remains payable.
3. Charges That Remain Payable
The following charges remain the full responsibility of the customer and are not refundable under any circumstances:
- Administrative and processing fees.
- Traffic fines, parking violations, Salik / toll charges, and impound fees.
- Damage charges, insurance excess, and uninsured loss.
- Excess mileage charges over the agreed allowance.
- Late-return, fuel, cleaning, and key-replacement fees.
- Any other charges set out in the signed rental or rent-to-own agreement.
4. Cancellations Before Vehicle Delivery
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time may, at the Company's sole discretion, be eligible for a partial refund less an administrative cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery time are non-refundable.
- No-shows are treated as a confirmed rental and the full amount is charged.
5. Security Deposits
The refundable security deposit (if any) will be returned after the vehicle has been returned, inspected, and all fines, damages, mileage charges and contractual amounts have been settled. The Company reserves the right to deduct any outstanding amounts from the deposit before refund.
6. Rent-to-Own Payments
Instalments paid under the Rent-to-Own program are non-refundable. In the event of early termination, default, or non-completion of the program, paid instalments shall be treated as rental payments for the period the vehicle was in the customer's possession.
7. Discretionary Refunds
Any approved refund shall be issued solely at the discretion of Yalla Driveand may take several business days to process. Approved refunds will be returned via the original payment method, net of any administrative, banking, or processing charges.
8. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via WhatsApp to +968 9579 2440or by email, with the booking reference, invoice number and reason for the request. Decisions are communicated within a reasonable period after review.
9. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman and forms part of the Terms & Conditions of every booking made with Yalla Drive.
